Sam Hamill

Sam Hamill's translations from the Chinese include Lu Chi's Art of Writing; Crossing the Yellow River; 300 Poems from the Chinese; The Essential Chuang Tzu, and The Poetry of Zen (the latter two with J. P. Seaton). He is Founding Editor of Copper Canyon Press and was Editor there for 32 years. He is Founder & Director of Poets Against War. His Tao Te Ching will be published by Shambhala, in October.
