Caroline Bergvall is a poet based in London. Her books include Eclat
(Sound&Language, 1996), Goan Atom, 1: Doll (Krupskaya,
2001). Some of her work is available on the net and is archived on her
author page at
the EPC. Work is also featured in the Oxford Anthology of Modern
British and Irish Poetry, edited by Keith Tuma (2001). She has developed
audiotexts as well as collaborative performances and installations with
artists, most recently Figs, 1,2, 3 (South London Gallery, Nov 2002).
Her critical work is mostly concerned with context-led writing and bilingual
poetry. She is one of the organisers of Partly
Writing, an ongoing series of seminars for writers around questions
of public space. She is Associate Research Fellow in Performance Writing
at Dartington College of Arts and Associate Writer in Creative Writing
at Cardiff University.
